The Four Paths

WHAT IS A PATH?

When a Kitsunari reaches Ni they must pick a path to follow. Each Kitsunari follows the path that fits their character the best. Paths offer a set of bonuses associated with the theme of the path. Once a Kitsunari has made their decision and their Ni prompts are accepted they cannot change their mind. There are four paths to choose from: Creator, Explorer, Scholar, and Warrior.

Path of the creator specializes in creation of all kind

NI - Level 2 Bonus

  • The Creator gains +5% success to crafting
  • The Creator gains the ability to locate Seeds of Creation in all activities.

GO - Level 5 Bonus

  • The Creator gains the ability to find Reputation in all activities and has a slightly higher chance to find reputation associated with their element.

  • The Creator gains 2 extra lifetime breeding slots.


ROKU - Level 6 Bonus

  • The Creator gains a small boost to passing Legendary & Rare Markings in breedings.

  • The Creator gains a small chance to retain Crafting Ingredients


HACHI - Level 8 Bonus

  • The Creator gains a path specific companion. (Suzaku)
  • The Creator gains a 3% chance to return more valuable items and a 5% chance to return with a 1,000 KC payday in all activities

PATH OF THE EXPLORER

Path of the Explorer by KitsunariADMIN
Path of the explorer specializes in the exploration of Ishimori.

NI - Level 2 Bonus

  • The Explorer gains a small bonus to finding companion animals in all activities.

  • The Explorer gains the ability to locate Potion of Perception in all activities.

GO - Level 5 Bonus

  • The Explorer gains the ability to find Reputation in all activities and has a slightly higher chance to find reputation associated with their element.
  • The Explorer gains 2 extra companion slots.


ROKU - Level 6 Bonus

  • The Explorer gains a small boost to passing on Non-Physical Traits in breedings.
  • The Explorer gains a small boost to finding Traitsu Tokens in all activities.

HACHI - Level 8 Bonus

  • The Explorer gains a path specific companion. (Byakko)
  • The Explorer gains a 3% chance to return more valuable items and a 5% chance to return with a 1,000 KC payday in all activities



PATH OF THE SCHOLAR

Path of the Scholar by KitsunariADMIN
Path of scholar specializes in growth and achievement.

NI - Level 2 Bonus

  • The Scholar gains an additional +1 Wisdom Point for each image that is eligible for rewards such as activities, events, and quests.
  • The Scholar gains the ability to locate Tome of Knowledge in all activities.

GO - Level 5 Bonus

  • The Scholar gains the ability to find Reputation in all activities and has a slightly higher chance to find reputation associated with their element.

  • The Scholar gains +2 trait slots for common/uncommon traits and +1 trait slots that may be used for rare or legendary traits.


ROKU - Level 6 Bonus

  • The Scholar gains a small boost to passing Base Color (including specialty colors) in breedings.

  • The Scholar gains the ability to provide an additional +1 Wisdom Point to all Kitsunari depicted with the Scholar (stacks with Mentor, however multiple Scholar Roku do not stack).


HACHI - Level 8 Bonus

  • The Scholar gains a path specific companion. (Genbu)
  • The Scholar gains a 3% chance to return more valuable items and a 5% chance to return with a 1,000 KC payday in all activities


PATH OF THE WARRIOR

Path of the Warrior by KitsunariADMIN

Path of the warrior specializes in strength and training.


NI - Level 2 Bonus

  • The Warrior gains +5 bonus to all brawls.
  • The Warrior gains the ability to locate Tonic of the Brawler in all activities.

GO - Level 5 Bonus

  • The Warrior gains the ability to find Reputation in all activities and has a slightly higher chance to find reputation associated with their element.

  • The Warrior gains 1 extra lifetime breeding slot and +1 companion slot.


ROKU - Level 6 Bonus

  • The Warrior gains a small boost to passing on Physical Traits in breedings.

  • The Warrior gains a small boost to finding Talismans in any activities where they can find talismans.


HACHI - Level 8 Bonus

  • The Warrior gains a path specific companion. (Seiryu)
  • The Warrior gains a 3% chance to return more valuable items and a 5% chance to return with a 1,000 KC payday in all activities




CAN I CHOOSE MULTIPLE PATHS?

No, each Kitsunari can only specialize in a single path. In order to master that path they must give it their undivided attention.

CAN I CHANGE MY PATH LATER?

No, a Kitsunari is bound to its path for all eternity. Once that path is chosen it cannot be altered at a later date. While there is a stone that will allow a Kitsunari to be reincarnated, this action will wipe away any and all progress the Kitsunari has made to date.

DO I HAVE TO CHOOSE A PATH?

Yes. Kitsunari cannot excel past level 2 without choosing a path. Be sure to choose your path carefully, and keep its goals in mind when choosing your element as well.
